The service
Hour Tracker provides tools that help workers track shifts, hours, overtime where modeled in-app, summarize pay cycles, estimate earnings based on figures you configure, visualize achievements—including optional social badges you choose to share—and export summaries for personal use. Availability, performance, or feature completeness may evolve with updates.
No professional advice
Outputs are planning aids only. Payroll law, taxation, deductions, mandated break rules, prevailing wage regimes, and employer policies vary materially by region and contract. Hour Tracker does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or labour-relations counsel. Employers’ official records prevail for disputes unless otherwise agreed—always verify with qualified professionals.
Accuracy & your responsibility
Estimated pay and overtime indicators depend on timestamps, hourly rates, and configuration you maintain. Garbage in yields misleading totals. Users remain responsible for review, correction, safeguarding exports, configuring device security, deciding what to disclose when using social-sharing affordances, and complying with workplace policies or collective agreements applicable to them.
Licence & restrictions
Subject to ongoing compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable licence to install and run the app on authorized Apple-branded hardware. You agree not to misrepresent affiliation, circumvent rate limits where present, attempt to mine user data unrelated to lawful personal use, reverse engineer underlying services except as law permits, or deploy the branding of Hour Tracker in a confusing manner suggesting endorsement you lack.
Acceptable conduct
Respectful communication with Support, refraining from submitting malware-bearing attachments, abstaining from harassing other users inside any community features shipped later (if introduced), and compliance with Apple's App Store Guidelines are prerequisites for continued enjoyment of the Product.
Liability limitation
Where permitted lawfully, Hour Tracker entities and contributors disclaim indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data—even if foreseeable—arising out of reliance on summaries, misplaced exports, or downtime. Aggregate liability ordinarily caps at USD $100 or the fees you paid to us directly in the past twelve months, whichever is larger, excluding amounts where limitation is prohibited by governing law. Some jurisdictions disallow certain caps; you may retain additional protections there.
Warranty disclaimer
Except as expressly warranted by statute, the Product is offered “AS IS.” We disclaim implied warranties of fitness for purpose, uninterrupted availability, infringement, or merchantability wherever allowable.
Governing law & venue
These Terms are drafted for general readability. Mandatory consumer laws in your home country may supersede clauses that conflict—choose governing law consistent with counsel once your legal entity jurisdiction is finalized, and mirror that choice explicitly here.
Termination
Violations—especially abuses of exported data, deceptive friend-network behaviour, breaches of Apple's policies, or attempts to degrade shared infrastructure—may lead to revocation of access alongside whatever remedies law allows.

Meaningful textual updates will revise the posting date atop this policy on hourtracking.online/terms; continued use constitutes acknowledgement except where heightened consent regimes require separate notice.
